Ryan is a left hand batsman and wicketkeeper, who was recently named in South Africa’s Twenty20 International (T20I) squad for their series against Pakistan.
In May 2021, he was named in the South Africa A’s squad to play against the Zimbabwe A cricket team for their tour to Zimbabwe and was the highest run-scorer in that series.
