Johannesburg – The Central Gauteng Lions (CGL) are delighted to announce their most recent partner: Makro. The exciting new partnership will see CGL earn rewards on expenditure linked to the CGL Makro profile.

Central Gauteng Lions CEO Jono Leaf-Wright welcomes Makro to the Lions cricketing family; “The initiative is run along the same concept as other loyalty programmes. With this exciting new Makro partnership our cricketing community will earn rewards for CGL based on their expenditure with Makro. The rebates earned back from this loyalty system will go a long way to furthering the development of the game and for that we are both excited and appreciative. Rewards will be accumulated on a bi-annual basis and utilised towards our cricket community in the form of cricket facility maintenance, infrastructure development, training, equipment, bursaries and mentoring of aspiring cricketers who will fly the Lions and South African flag high. CGL continually aspires to grow the game of cricket across all communities, gender, race, income groups and previously disadvantaged communities including blind and deaf cricket.
