Blind Proteas heads to India for T20 Series, Blind Proteas will tour Bangalore (India) for a
five-match T20 bilateral series against the host nation from May 12th to 16th, 2025. This tour
underscores the unifying power of sport and international collaboration. The Blind Proteas
contingent of 5 dedicated DP World Lions Blind cricket players.
Blind Proteas will depart on May 8th, 2025, and return on the 17th of May 2025. A key
element of this tour is a two-day coaching clinic on May 10th and 11th, where the Blind
Proteas will engage in a collaborative learning experience with experienced Indian coaches.
This unique interaction will facilitate the exchange of cricketing knowledge and techniques,
ultimately enhancing the skills of the South African players in the dynamic T20 format.
The five T20 matches in Bangalore will be played daily from May 12th to 16th and will
undoubtedly showcase the exceptional talent and determination of visually impaired
cricketers from both nations.
Blind Cricket South Africa is excited to participate in this series, fostering goodwill and
demonstrating the unifying power of sport across borders.
In light of this, 5 players including the official of DP World Lions Blind Cricket are part of
the national team (Blind Proteas) that will participate in the T20 bilateral series from the
departure 8th of May-17th of May 2025 in India.
